A: The FES Network provides a series of online educational seminars designed to provide your employees with an increase understanding of financial planning, specifically focused on retirement saving through a 401(k) plan.
Q: What do the modules include?
A: These multi-media presentations include entertaining video seminars, with a searchable transcript, slides highlighting key points, and immediate access to necessary resources such as worksheets and benefits forms. Included with each module is a follow-up report for HR on who has participated, and what they have learned, at no extra charge.
Q: How are the seminars presented?
A:The modules are hosted on our servers and available online from any computer that is linked to the internet. Employees are given a password and username to login. They simply link to the module either using a hyperlink from an email or from a pre-designated page on your web site. You have the option of customizing the presentations to reflect the branding and graphics on your benefits website. Additional resources, such as links to your 401K plan enrollment forms, fund prospectuses or other benefits materials, can be added to the resource bar as well.
Q: When can employees take these seminars?
A: Anytime they like. The key benefit these online seminars offer is the convenience. No longer is it necessary to go through the headache of gathering all employees in one place. Your employees can review any topics they may not have understood initially as many times as they would like. These programs are particularly useful at provide duplicate information to multiple locations.
Q: How does HR track employee participation?
A: When you subscribe to the FES Network, you will be provided with detailed reports that detail which employees have taken the seminars and when. These reports not only help you determine the effectiveness of the program, but provide you will a durable record that you are meeting your education obligations under ERISA 404(c).
Q: How much does it cost to implement?
A: Subscription fees are based on the number of employees in your organization and the number of modules you wish to provide for them.
