FES Network was founded with the idea that everyone deserves a quality financial education. Employees who understand and are in control of their finances are less stressed and more productive. The availability of this educational experience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week gives your employees the opportunity to increase their financial knowledge. With that increase in knowledge comes the understanding that they are in charge of their own retirement savings, leading to an increase in 401(k) participation. FES Networks is headquartered in Baltimore, MD.

Meet our founder, Caroline Worrall and hear her story of how her experience in managing benefit plans sparked the development of this new concept in employee financial education.

About Caroline H. Worrall, CFA

In addition to being head of the Financial Education Seminars Network, Ms. Worrall has been an Investment Advisor registered with the state of Maryland since 2006 and has helped many clients plan for and meet their financial goals.

Additionally, Ms. Worrall headed a consulting practice providing financial advice and strategic planning to small and mid-sized businesses. In addition to general financial duties, she worked with Human Resources on a variety of benefits programs, including oversight of the 401(k) program.

From 2001-2005, Ms. Worrall was the CFO for Reactive NanoTechnologies. During that time, the company raised $10.5 million in venture capital and $400,000 in venture debt. In 2004, she was named as a finalist for Maryland Entrepreneur of the Year by the Technology Council of Maryland. As one of the founding members of the management team, she was responsible for all financial matters and her responsibilities included oversight of IT and Human Resources.

Preceding her entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Worrall spent two years as an Equity Analyst for Mercantile Safe Deposit & Trust. She performed detailed investment analysis of companies within a variety of industries and received top performance bonus for stock selection in 1999. Her career prior to business school was primarily in the computer and energy consulting fields.

Ms. Worrall received her Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 1998. While at Virginia, she received the William Michael Shermet Award for Academic Excellence and was inducted into the Raven Society and Omicron Delta Kappa. She received her Bachelor of Science in 1991 from Vanderbilt University where she majored in Computer Science, English and Mathematics.

Ms. Worrall acquired the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in November 2000 and has 10 years of investment experience.
